Our
advanced 2G® LAN-TEC®
energy generation technology
utilizes landfill gas (LFG) from
the bacterial decomposition
process of organic material
contained in landfills to generate
electricity and heat using a fuel
that is both efficient, and
providing many economic benefits.
2G® LAN-TEC® landfill gas
cogeneration modules are
specifically developed for LFG
applications. A compact CHP design
with integrated control-and
switchgear, thermal energy
distribution system and advanced
enclosure options.

Traditionally LFG power
plants in North America have been
sized between 1 and 4MW because
smaller engines could not provide
the same high efficiencies, and
cost-effective gas treatment
systems for smaller gas volumes
were not readily available. 2G®’s
thermodynamically optimized MAN®
gas engines with 2G-Drive®
technology are ideal for LFG
installations. Now customers can
also effectively utilize CHP’s
<500ekW for on-site power
generation at remote landfill
locations.
The technology behind 2G® gas
engines and their controls makes
them highly reliable, offering
superior efficiency with low
lifecycle costs. The added
benefits of these 2G-Drive® MAN®
gas engines over the conventional
standard MAN®, or any other gas
engine in a similar size range,
include up to 25% higher
electrical efficiency, up to 35%
lower maintenance cost, and a
longer life. We offer more value
than our competition by focusing
on advanced technology
improvements “superior by design”,
and “system efficiency”, rather
than just packaging a standard gas
engine.
LFG can be converted into an
effective energy source. In
addition to being environmentally
sound, this type of energy
generation provides landfill
operators and waste management
business operations with long-term
economic benefits.

2G® is a
trusted system provider for many
landfill operators and LFG
power plant developers all over
the world. LFG power stations are
only as good and reliable as the
overall design, and the quality of
the equipment converting LFG into
valuable electric & thermal
energy. We realize that anybody
can claim to use only highest
quality components, promising
reliable and efficient systems.
The difference can be found in the
details. Innovative technologies
combined with unmatched experience
result in incomparable CHP
solutions.

Our systems are designed to perform.
For us the true value of an LFG
power plant lies in the efficiency
it generates combined with
outstanding technical performance. Minimal gas
treatment is applied
to make LFG usable for our 2G®
LAN-TEC®
systems that are specifically
designed for corrosive gases.
The electrical energy can be
fed into the public electricity
grid. Surplus thermal energy is
generally utilized to heat
buildings, landfill offices &
facilities, as
well as being used in commercial
and industrial processes located
near by.
By avoiding flaring off valuable
gas resources, and preventing
emissions of methane (a powerful
greenhouse gas) through the
utilization as a fuel source for
energy generation, we help
landfill operators, waste
management businesses, electrical
utility companies, communities,
and states to generate additional
revenues, to protect the
environment and to build a
sustainable future.
2G®’s CHP systems can
be easily applied to any type of
landfill. Also to small sites with
limited LFG flow less than 60
cfm. Instead of flaring,
energy can be generated. If
thermal energy is not required,
the equipment is designed to
dispose excess heat, while
efficiently generating
electricity. Cost-effective gas
treatment technologies, sized for
small LFG operations are
available.

Landfill gas (LFG) is
extracted from landfills
using a series of wells.
This technology directs
the collected gas to a
central point where it can
be processed and treated
depending upon the
ultimate use for the gas.
From this point, the gas
is flared or
used to generate
electricity. 2G® offers integrated
solutions covering the
entire value chain, from
gas cogeneration to the
utilization of electrical
energy, heat and valuable
carbon credits.

As leading manufacturer of
CHP cogeneration power
modules 2G®
is a trusted equipment
provider for many landfill gas (LFG)
plant specialists all over
the world. We are working
closely with various specialized bio energy
engineering bureaus, as
well as with a wide
variety of turn key plant
suppliers who are
specialized in LFG
technologies. Landfill
power plants are only as good
and reliable as the
overall design, the
equipment manufacturing process, and
the quality of the CHP
cogeneration module.
We are committed to
provide the most
advanced, sound and proven
cogeneration CHP
technologies, as well as
professional product
support services to all
our customers in North-and
South America. Unlike most genset
suppliers who are not
really specialized in
landfill gas (LFG)
applications and CHP cogeneration plants, we are exclusively focusing
on reliable, proven and
complete CHP modules that
are professionally
engineered and
manufactured. We supply a
complete factory-designed
and tested package. This
approach provides our
