COMPACT PLANT OIL & BIODIESEL COGENERATION CHP SYSTEMS

Our modern PLA-TEC® plant oil and biodiesel cogeneration plants are also available as smaller compact units. They are efficient and offer a clean and economical alternative to fossil fuels. Biodiesel is made through a process called transesterfication. This process involves removing glycerin and other components from the vegetable oil or fat. Biodiesel is free from such substances as sulfur and aromatics which are found in traditional fuels. The unique quality of biodiesel makes it an ideal alternative fuel for cogeneration.  It has passed all Government testing requirements and it meets the standards of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) actively supports the commercial distribution and use of biodiesel.

Standard diesel engines made in the US require extensive modifications and manufacturers don’t provide warranties for plant oil and vegetable oil use. Our PLA-TEC® CHP cogeneration plants are specifically designed and made for vegetable & plant oil use. These fuels are efficiently converted into electrical and thermal energy to be used at the plant location. Excess electrical energy can be fed into the public electricity grid. Surplus thermal energy is generally utilized to heat buildings, green houses, residential homes, as well as being used in agricultural or industrial processes.

PLA-TEC® Plant Oil & Bio Diesel Cogeneration Technology   High-End Performance & Unmatched Quality

Our advanced PLA-TEC® plant oil & biodiesel energy generation technology transforms biodiesel and vegetable oil into a highly efficient energy source for generating electricity and heat, using a 100% renewable, economical and environmentally friendly fuel. Biodiesel is a cost-effective clean burning alternative to fossil fuel. This diesel is produced from plant sources such as soy, canola, rapeseed, palm oil, etc. Other available forms of fuels include biodiesel made from non-food feedstock, like animal fat and recycled cooking oils.

The most cost-effective type of biodiesel is vegetable oil (plant oil). While engineers and enthusiasts have been experimenting with vegetable and plant oils as fuel for a diesel engine since the 40's, it is only during the past 15 years that new technologies were introduced. Especially in Germany, the birth place of the Otto and Diesel Motor, leading engine manufacturers developed and invested in new technologies that guarantee reliable long term use of vegetable & plant oil in diesel engines.
